This is a handloom pastel pink cotton paithani saree which comes with a running blouse piece. Paithani is a variety of sarees named after the Paithan region in Maharashtra, where they are woven by hand.

This saree pallu has the design ajanta-lotus motif. This beautiful Lotus design is found on the ceiling of Ajanta Caves which was painted with natural dyes. Also, This saree has the design of a golden chanderi border, kuyari butti, Akruti (Almond) motif, Muniya (Beak of parrot) motif.
