This is a handloom cotton violet paithani saree which comes with a running blouse piece. Paithani is a variety of sarees named after the Paithan region in Maharashtra, where they are woven by hand.

This saree has the design narali border, kuyari butii and Akruti (Almond) motif, pallu is designed with a pair of peacocks sitting on kunda (flowerpot).
