Inspiration Behind the Painting:

Irises by Vincent van Gogh. 

Van Gogh created Irises using a technique called Impasto - applying thick layers of paint to create texture and depth on the canvas.
The painting beautifully combines blue, violet, green and orange. Inspired by this striking colour palette, we chose a monochromatic grey body for the saree, complemented by a subtle yellow border that brings the entire look together.
